A Pre-Wedding in Huế, Where They Grew Up Together | Hùng & Ánh

For Hùng and Ánh, there was only ever one place for these photographs. Huế is where they grew up, where they became who they are, and where they have stood side by side since they were students at Quốc Học Huế. No other backdrop could hold their story the way their own hometown does.

Looking back at Ánh and Hùng's photographs two years on, we still remember it all so clearly. The breathtaking sunset at Lăng Cô. The quiet, antique beauty that belongs to Huế alone. And most of all, the joy of walking beside their love, from their first days in a university lecture hall to a truly beautiful chapter, when both of them became resident doctors at Huế Central Hospital.

It was a special trip for us in every sense. So special that in the days before we left, we barely had enough time to prepare everything the way we wanted, and most of our plans were still only on paper. What let us step forward with a calm heart was one short sentence from the two of them: we place all our trust in you, Trường. Perhaps it was exactly that trust that turned this journey into one of our most treasured memories.

Not only for the tender scenery, not only for the images we brought home, but for the feeling of accompanying a beautiful love story from its very first days to a milestone this complete. That is the kind of story we will always feel lucky to tell.
