An Adventure Elopement at Liêng Nung Waterfall, Đắk Nông | Huy & Dịu

To reach the very first frame in this gallery, our whole team, together with Huy and Dịu, trekked nearly two kilometres through ancient forest, gripping ropes to cross the places where the trail had collapsed. It was a genuinely challenging journey. But sitting here looking back, we know exactly what we walked through together, and it was worth every single step.

It was the first time both the TIMO team and the couple had ever set foot at this waterfall. Seven of us, with packs and gear on our backs, made our way to Liêng Nung, one of the most majestic, untouched waterfalls we have ever seen, deep in Đắk Nông (Dak Nong) in Vietnam's wild Central Highlands.

For us, an elopement or pre-wedding shoot has never been a box to tick before the wedding. We want the day itself to be an experience, a real memory the two of you carry for the rest of your lives, before you step into the long, wide journey of marriage together.

Along the way we found things we never planned for. Fields of wild elephant grass leaning into the rushing wind. Roads winding through primeval forest. Little bridges and blades of grass that somehow held all the raw, magnificent spirit of Đắk Nông. Honestly, Đắk Nông is a hidden gem. If you are looking for somewhere at once wild, grand and quietly spectacular, this is it. And we cannot wait to come back and uncover even more.
