A Da Lat Waterfall Elopement & Vow Ceremony, Shot Entirely on 35mm Film | Tiến Anh & Trân

There are days you feel from behind the camera long before you understand them, and this was one. Tiến Anh and Trân did not want a wedding. They wanted a promise that belonged only to them, so we ran away with them into the highlands of Da Lat and built an intimate elopement around a single idea: a private vow ceremony, just the two of them, in the wildest and most beautiful places we could find.

On the first day we hiked to Liêng Chi Nha, a waterfall few people reach, and created a small field of flowers at its foot. There, with the water falling behind them, they read handwritten vows to each other. On the second morning, the lake at Suối Tía gave us a gift: thick sunrise mist turning gold over the water, a wooden boat drifting through it, a scene straight out of a fairytale.

Every frame you see here was shot entirely on 35mm film. No digital backup, no second chances, just fewer frames, more patience, and every shot considered. For a day this personal, film felt like the only honest way to keep it: soft, warm and timeless, the way the morning actually felt.
