Intimate Wedding | Duong & Duc | Ho Chi Minh City

Duong and Duc chose Mia Saigon for an intimate wedding ceremony, surrounded by their closest family and friends. Duong, with her warm smile, once shared with us: “Duc isn’t very expressive, he tends to keep his emotions to himself.” Yet, as she walked down the aisle, we saw Duc’s eyes quietly fill with emotion. In that moment, it became clear, it wasn’t the absence of feeling, but the depth of it, carefully held until it truly mattered. Beneath a gentle sunset along the Saigon River, on lush green lawns bathed in the last golden light of the day, they exchanged heartfelt vows, words spoken sincerely, from the deepest place within. Everything came together seamlessly: the light, the setting, the emotions, forming a scene that felt both romantic and vividly alive. This year, we’ve had the privilege of documenting many intimate weddings, celebrations of around 40–60 guests. Though smaller in scale, these weddings ask more of us as storytellers. They require deeper observation, greater sensitivity, and a heightened awareness of every subtle interaction. Because in intimate weddings, nothing is excessive. Every look, every embrace, every fleeting moment has meaning, and each one deserves to be remembered. Thank you, Duong and Duc.
