Our First All-Film Love Story, in the April Light of Da Lat | Tuấn & Duyên

This album is a first for us. It is the first time a couple has trusted TIMO Wedding to photograph a whole album on film from start to finish, on both 35mm and 120mm medium format. For our team it was a challenge and a gift at the same time, another step in our quiet mission to bring the beauty of film closer to the couples we photograph.

When we first sat down with Tuấn and Duyên, the plan was ordinary. Shoot digital, the way we usually do. But the deeper we went into the mood of their album, the more one word kept coming back to us. Film. Digital can be bright and dazzling. Film is something gentler. It is soft, honest and a little imperfect, and that is exactly the way Tuấn and Duyên love each other. Nothing showy, nothing staged. Just two people quietly planning to grow old together.

Da Lat in April gave us everything the story needed. Cool light, still mornings, and that gentle highland haze that film seems made for. Every frame carries the plain, unhurried tenderness the two of them wanted, the kind of love you hold onto from young until old.

And they did not come alone. Walking through almost every frame is the little dog they have raised together through their years of loving each other. Part pet, part child, and the one true witness to their whole story. Wherever Tuấn and Duyên went, their companion followed, and this album simply would not be complete without it.

Shot on real film, developed and scanned by hand, this is a love story told the slow way. We are proud that it is the first of many
