About Us
Da Lat, slow and film-soft
We're TIMO Wedding, an award-winning team (WPJA Top 100 Photographer) based in Vietnam. Da Lat is our favourite place to slow down: cool all year, wrapped in pine forest, dotted with lakes, flower gardens and French-era villas, and bathed in the kind of soft light that looks gorgeous on film.
We photograph engagements, pre-weddings and relaxed couple shoots here for local, overseas and overseas-Vietnamese couples, speak English, and plan every detail with you beforehand.

Da Lat runs at a gentler pace than the rest of Vietnam, cool, quiet and film-soft, which is exactly why it is one of the loveliest places in the country to be photographed together.
Why Da Lat is perfect for a couple shoot
While the rest of Vietnam is hot, Da Lat stays cool all year, so you are comfortable and the light is soft. In one small city you have Xuan Huong Lake, pine forests, flower gardens, French-era villas and charming old streets full of cafes. It is romantic, unhurried and beautifully suited to a warm, film look, whether it is your engagement, a full pre-wedding, or simply a relaxed couple photoshoot.
Beyond the usual spots
For Binh and Ha, we skipped almost all of the "must-have" Da Lat spots, no chasing sunrise, no pine-forest cliches, no sea of clouds. Instead we took a slow morning walk around Xuan Huong Lake, wandered the old market streets, hopped on a vintage Vespa, ducked into a cosy cafe, and even brought their dog along. It felt less like a shoot and more like a lovely day out, and that is often when the best photos happen.

Da Lat is cool and pleasant all year (around 15 to 24 degrees). The dry season from November to April gives the clearest days. The yellow wild sunflowers bloom around November and the cherry blossoms around January to February, both beautiful for a shoot.
