Pre-Wedding Photography in Vietnam

We're TIMO Wedding, an award-winning team (WPJA Top 100 Photographer) based in Vietnam. A pre-wedding shoot here is one of the most joyful ways to experience the country — and to have relaxed, natural photos of the two of you before the big day. We work mostly with overseas and overseas-Vietnamese couples, speak English, and plan the whole day with you beforehand.

The best locations for a Vietnam pre-wedding

The right backdrop depends on the feeling you're after. A few of our favourites:

• Da Lat — cool pine forests, flower gardens, misty lakes and a sea of clouds at dawn.
• Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City) — French-colonial streets and green gardens just outside the city.
• Da Nang & Hoi An — beaches and the lantern-lit old town.
• Phu Quoc & Nha Trang — white sand and sunsets over the sea.
• Mang Den & Ninh Binh — quiet, green, cinematic escapes off the usual path.

When to plan your shoot

In the south (Saigon, Phu Quoc) the dry season November to April is safest. Da Lat is lovely all year. Central Vietnam (Da Nang, Hoi An) is driest February to August. Wherever you shoot, the hour after sunrise and the hour before sunset give you the softest, most flattering light — we build the day around them.

How it works, planning from abroad

Most of our couples plan entirely from overseas. We talk through the concept, outfits, timeline and route with you beforehand, and design a day that flows naturally rather than a rushed checklist. Many couples add a pre-wedding day to a longer trip, or to their wedding week, so it doubles as an adventure together.
